From 12th to 19th of September first World Mixed Curling Championship took place in Bern, Switzerland. Norway became first champions by beating Sweden 5:3. China took bronze medals by beating Russia 5:4. Latvia won 4 out of 8 games and took 18th place among 36 countries.
