Team Turmann from Estonia wins fifth Riga International Curling Challenge

Team Turmann from Estonia (Erika Tuvike, Heili Grossmann, Kerli Laidsalu, Marie Turmann, Liisa Turmann) finished round robin with 3-0 win-loss record. In their first game they beat team NICOLL/Regža (Latvia-1) 11-4, then in tight game they won team Mača (Latvia-5) 6-10. On Saturtday morning they won team Stabulniece (Latvia-2) with result 6-1. This gave 1st place in overall ranking and team Albatross (Russia) in semi final. In the semi final game team Turmann from Estonia finished with result 8:5. Ladies from Estonia met last season Latvian National team JKK/Staša-Šaršūne in final. After big steal in the third end with 4 points gave them confidence until the end and the game finished with result 9:6. Congratulations!

Third place goes to team SKOB/Stabulniece (Latvia-2) which won team Albatross (Russia). Result 7-5.
