Team NICOLL/Regža from Latvia wins Riga International Curling Challenge with 5-0 win-loss record. In their first game they beat Latvian National junior team 8-3, then in tight game they won team Rudzīte 7:6. On Saturtday evening they won team Stabulniece with result 12-2. In the forth game team NICOLL/Regža finished with result 9:2 against team VKK/Millere. Ladies met team Mača in the last game and won it with result 7:2. Congratulations!
Second place goes to team JKK/Rudzīte with 3-2 win-loss record. Team VKK/Millere with win against team Mača and team JKK/Barone stays at third place.
Despite the situation created by Covid-19 it was obviously that this year one team from Latvia will win this competition after teams from Estonia, Lithuania, Germany, Scotland quit participants list. All six teams played round-robin and teams were ranked by points, head to head result and DSC if necessary.
