Team Paulauskaite from Lithuania wins third Riga International Curling Challenge

Team Paulauskaite from Lithuania (Lina Januleviciute, Asta Vaicekonyte, Olga Dvojeglazova, Grazina Eitutiene and Virginija Paulauskaite) finished round robin with 3-1 win-loss record. In their first tight game they beat team Valatkiene (Lithuania-2) 9-8, then won team Stabulniece (Latvia-3) 6-4. On Saturtday evening they lost to team Regža (Latvia-1) with result 3-9 and in last round robin game in extra end beat team Kāpostiņa (Latvia-2) with result 4-3. This gave 2nd place in overall ranking and team Regža (Latvia-1) in final. In the final game team Paulauskaite from Lithuania had two great key-shots (one in 8th end and another in extra end) and beat in a very tight game team Regža (Latvia-1). Final result 5-4. Congratulations!

Third place goes to team Kāpostiņa (Latvia-2) which won team Valatkiene (Lithuania-2). Result 9-4.
